Description

An established and respected hospitalist group is seeking an experienced Hospitalist Physician Assistant to join its daytime hospital medicine team in a thriving Oklahoma City suburb. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a collaborative group of highly skilled providers dedicated to delivering exceptional inpatient care.

The ideal candidate will have prior hospitalist experience and a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced inpatient setting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive hospitalist coverage for hospitalized adult patients during daytime shifts
  • Evaluate, assess, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in the inpatient setting
  • Coordinate and facilitate admissions, discharges, and inpatient consultations as needed
  • Develop, implement, and oversee individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, case management, and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Ensure continuity of care and timely clinical decision-making throughout the shift
  • Respond to changes in patient condition and provide appropriate clinical interventions
  • Participate in patient and family education to support quality outcomes and care transitions

Schedule

  • Full-time position
  • 7-on / 7-off rotation
  • Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Hospitalist Physician Assistant required
  • NCCPA Certification
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
