Description

A physician-owned emergency medicine group located in North Texas, ~2 hours northwest of Dallas near the Oklahoma border, is seeking a BC/BE Emergency Medicine physician to join a democratic practice at a high-volume Level II Trauma Center.


Position Highlights:

  • Physician-owned democratic group with partnership track
  • Independent contractor opportunity with competitive hourly compensation
  • Level II Trauma Center with a 65-bed emergency department and ~75,000 annual visits
  • 12 shifts per month with 10-hour shifts
  • 6 physician shifts per day
  • 4 dedicated nocturnists providing minimal overnight coverage
  • Efficient workflow with ~2.0 patients per hour and 2–3 hour disposition times
  • Scribes and APP-supported fast track
  • Clinical Decision Unit supported by experienced APPs
  • 24/7 ED social work support
  • No psychiatric holds
  • Strong hospitalist support for efficient admissions
  • Dedicated OB ED and 24/7 OB/GYN intensivist coverage (no OB responsibility)
  • Epic EMR
