Description
Immediate ned for a Child / Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a behavioral health group 30 minutes South of Salem. Lets Discuss

this is for residential(no outpatient at this time)
comp starting at 235K and up DOE

Professional Requirements:  
Demonstrated ability to conduct psychiatric evaluations of children, adolescents and their families  
Demonstrated skills in treatment team, leadership, management and education  
Demonstrated understanding of the functioning of complex organizational and social systems and how each system’s components interact with and impact others  
Demonstrated ability to function in transitional administrative situations in an effective manner and be a productive participant in communication and change  
Demonstrated understanding of the social supports required by at risk children, adolescents and families in the community and the ability to guide and facilitate the case management process to develop these supports  
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of family dynamics and functioning, including the basic strategies of parenting and family systems treatment interventions  
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of child development models, concepts and theories and applications to residential and community  treatment approaches  
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of how children learn and intervention approaches which have been most effective in addressing learning disabilities  
Demonstrated ability to compose integrated goals which promote the successful transition of children to families and communities  
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing  
Demonstrated leadership, supervision and training skills  
Demonstrated ability to problem solve and achieve treatment goals using effective strategies which are based on current psychiatric literature  
Demonstrated skills and ability to resolve conflict and to facilitate cooperation and consensual decision making among members of a interdisciplinary treatment team  
Demonstrated sensitivity to and respect for different cultural backgrounds  
Demonstrated ability to establish clear and appropriate boundaries with co-workers and clients and the handling of confidential information and to train others in these skills  
Demonstrated knowledge/skills related to child and adolescent group therapies, methods and approaches
