Lynchburg is a 50 square mile city in Central Virginia. It is nestled in the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and is approximately 180 miles from Washington DC. Our Lynchburg location is home to 20 Physicians specializing in Orthopedics, Physiatry, Podiatry, Rheumatology, Spine and Sports Trained Primary Care Medicine. Our Lynchburg team enjoys the support of 9 Physician Assistants and 2 Nurse Practitioners. Additionally,we recognize that recovery from orthopedic surgery or an injury is a journey that takes time. We believe that Physical and Occupational Therapy are an integral part of that journey. Here in Lynchburg, we have a team of 17 Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Licensed Physical Therapy Aides and Certified Occupational Therapy Aides. This allows us to offer a team approach to treat our patients. It also makes our Lynchburg location the largest multidisciplinary musculoskeletal practice in the area.

We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team. The NP’s primary responsibility will be collaboration with the spine team, working under the direction of orthopedic spine surgeons providing patient care by examining patients, ordering diagnostic treatments, prescribing medications and responding to general patient needs.

Candidates must have state licensure and DEA registration. 1-2 years orthopedic experience specific to the spine is preferable. We are looking for candidates who are patient-centered, compassionate, work well in a collaborative, team care environment and who can effectively communicate.
