Description Psych NP for VA / Loan Forgiveness Outpatient Psych/Mental Health Nurse Practitioners needed for Community Health Centers Loan repayment! Nurse Practitioner Pay Range: Variable and DOE. Max $135,000 We are actively recruiting enthusiastic, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to work with our adult or child/adolescent populations. This position works Monday through Friday (8:30a-5p) with no on-call requirement. Child/Adolescent Population Job Summary Provides medical evaluations and mental health medical management across 8 community CSBs, which may include telemedicine. The provider should be able to perform psychiatric evaluation with assessment and create plan of care and treatment, working in close cooperation with case managers, and attend occasional meetings with the clinicians and case managers assigned to certain patients. Adult Population Job Summary Provides direct services to chronically mentally ill adults and dually diagnosed adults (mental illness, substance abuse, and/or intellectual disabilities). The provider is responsible for providing psychiatric evaluations, consultations, and medication management services to adult psychiatric and detoxification patients in a community residential short term setting and clients in an outpatient clinic setting. Minimum Qualifications: Licensed Psychiatrist or Nurse Practitioner is required. Applicants must be currently licensed in the state of Virginia. Psychiatry residents may also apply and be considered for employment. | ||||||||||||||||
