Description StaffMD has been a health center client in the Boston area seeking a Primary Care physician to provide primary care services to its adult population. The position reports to the Medical Director for Primary Care and expected to work 80% providing direct care and 20% administrative responsibilities. The health center serves a population with a number of significant health issues, including mental health and substance abuse, high infant mortality rates, high asthma, obesity, diabetes, and hypertension. The health center is accredited by the Joint Commission, recognized by the NCQA as a Level 3 Patient Centered Medical Home, Patient Centered Connected Care (Urgent Care) and NCQA Prime for its Behavioral Health Integration. It is also recognized by the American Diabetes Association as a Center of Excellence in Diabetes Self-Management Education.
