Description
An established hospital-based team in Alabama is seeking a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner to provide overnight inpatient care for acutely and chronically ill adult patients
Practice Highlights:
- Full-time position
- Primarily inpatient role providing overnight hospital-based care
- Manage acute and complex chronically ill adult patients
- Facilitate care from admission through discharge
- Evaluate patients and develop evidence-based treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
- Apply advanced medical and nursing knowledge to complex clinical situations
- Provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered care
- Communicate effectively during urgent and emergency situations
- Complete timely, accurate and compliant clinical documentation
- Participate in ongoing professional development and competency validation
Qualifications:
- ARNP/CRNP degree
- Current Alabama Nurse Practitioner licensure
- Strong clinical and technical competence
- Sound clinical judgment and professional communication skills
- Ability to manage complex adult patients in an inpatient setting
- Effective communication skills in emergency situations
- Computer literacy and basic typing proficiency
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, patient safety and continued professional development
