Description
We are seeking an experienced, Board-Certified General Surgeon to join a well-established practice in Central Wyoming, offering a broad surgical scope, strong clinical support, flexible practice options, and an exceptional outdoor lifestyle.
Position Highlights:
- Full-time General Surgery opportunity in a welcoming mountain community

- Bread-and-butter general surgery practice with strong community need
- Surgical cases performed at a community trauma hospital
- Opportunity for hospital employment and/or independent practice
- Join a team of 1 full-time surgeon and 1 contracted surgeon
- Dedicated clinical support with opportunity to expand as volume grows
- Mature practice projected at 5,500–6,000 wRVUs annually
- Access to a collaborative medical community, including:
- 3 Primary Care Physicians
- OB/GYN
- ENT
- Internal Medicine
- Orthopedic and specialty support
- Serve a regional population of 40,000+
- Practice within a healthcare system offering:
- 24/7 hospitalist and emergency services
- Surgical services
- Women’s health
- Advanced diagnostic imaging
- J-1 visa candidates welcome to apply
Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified in General Surgery
- Eligible for Wyoming medical licensure and DEA registration with full prescribing authority
- Experienced surgeons preferred; this opportunity is not open to new graduates
Compensation & Benefits:
- Compensation in the MGMA 50th–75th percentile range
- wRVU production incentive
