Montgomery County, MD.
The Nurse Practitioner will provide high quality, comprehensive, culturally appropriate, evidence-based primary and preventive care, within our defined scope of practice.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct patient care.
Case management of patient, in collaboration with other clinic staff.
Telephone follow-up and management.
Filling pharmacy refill authorizations.
Collaborate/Coordinate patient care with specialist providers, staff, and Medical Director.
Review and address laboratory and other diagnostic testing results.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner graduate from an accredited program
License to practice as a CRNP in the State of Maryland
Current CPR certification; eligible for DEA and Maryland controlled substance license
1 year of relevant experience
Proficiency documenting in an electronic health record system, preferably eClinicalWorks
Interest in working with diverse, underserved population
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
