Description
Join two Psychiatrists and a Nurse Practitioner staffing a 14-bed inpatient psychiatric unit. Average census of eight patients. Provide effective psychiatric care in a peaceful environment where traditional therapeutic approaches are enhanced with complementary services such as patient education, aroma therapy, arts and entertainment. Monday thru Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm work schedule. Weekday call is split among all providers and is phone / beeper only. Weekend call is twice per year. Employed position provides a salary based upon experience and certification as well as comprehensive benefits package. Minutes from New Haven and less than one hour to Hartford, the area is filled with beautiful suburban communities that provide a wonderful place to raise your family.
